Today’s guest is Katie Kurtz is an award winning connector and founder of Her Turn Co. Her Turn guides womxn in deepening their connection with themselves and each other through the It’s Her Turn podcast, coaching, gatherings and retreats. Katie's authentic spirit and gift as a connector allows her to create brave spaces both on and offline for womxn to be themselves so they can courageously redefine how they connect.
Katie currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio. She holds a Masters of Science in Social Administration and Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University.
She is an Internationally Certified Coach with Beautiful You Coaching Academy and 200hr RYT yoga instructor. Katie has spent the last 12+ years as a licensed social worker and works as a consultant with leaders and teams on connection-centered strategies.

ILIANA GARCIA | 2020 ATA Brand Ambassador and Two-Time World Champion

Today’s guest is Iliana Garcia, the founder of the Jourknee2Master blog and the 2020 ATA Brand Ambassador. She has been training in martial arts for nearly 20 years. She began her journey when she was 7 years old when her parents enrolled her in ATA Martial Arts to build her self esteem and communication skills.
Iliana is a two-time ATA World Champion and has traveled abroad as far as Korea to represent Team USA in International competition. She is also the 2011 ESPN Invitational Champion & two-time ESPN 360 Women’s Challenger. Although she loves all aspects of training, her favorite continues to be sparring and weapons. It’s no secret that another love of hers is board breaking, which can be seen in her ESPN 360 performances where she breaks dozens of boards in minutes.
Iliana has two bachelors from the University of Florida in marketing and communications and is currently a graduate student at Florida International University. As an aspiring Master instructor, Iliana advocates martial arts for children and adults to enhance their mental, physical, and emotional strengths. She explains, “I am a firm believer that the meaning of life is to find your gift and the purpose of life is to give your gift away. We are responsible for using our gifts to help others grow into the best version of themselves.”
Over the next year, she is documenting her journey through recovery as she prepare to conquer her next goal, MASTERSHIP.

My guest today is Lisa Martin, a multi-passionate entrepreneur and the Founder, CEO and creative soul behind Lisa Martin Designs and Lisa Martin Coaching. As an artist, she handcrafts and curates bespoke and limited edition gemstone & crystal jewellery, stationery, paper goods, and printables to uplift, inspire and empower women daily.
As a soul guidance and mindset coach and as a domestic and sexual abuse survivor, she specializes in supporting survivors of abuse, childhood trauma, heartbreak, loss and the women who feel like they have lost themselves. Lisa facilitates women’s rediscovery and reconnection back to their heart and soul. She then guides them to rewrite their story through 1:1 heart-led coaching, group coaching, retreats and creative wellbeing and mindset workshops.
Lisa is also a mental wellbeing advocate, writer and author of the new book The Girls Who Refused to Quit, featuring 14 inspirational women who overcame life’s adversities and how they rewrote their stories.
Lisa Martin lives in the beautiful market town of Beverley in Yorkshire, England. She has four children, and two granddaughters. (one she lost through adoption and the other whom she oversees as legal guardian).

Eva Hamilton is a Certified Yoga Teacher + Yoga Educator who leads yoga teacher training, retreats and workshops internationally. Since her 200-hr certification at age 17, Eva has since completed over 1000hrs of Yoga Teacher Training and has taught for over 12 years.
Eva's own yoga practice is rooted in transforming anxiety into freedom. Through her teaching, she desires to help her students to do the same.
Apart from asana, Eva is passionate about educating on the deeper mechanisms of yoga. She gets very excited to talk about fascia and philosophy, anatomy and embodiment, recalibrating our nervous systems and taking our practice beyond the poses. Eva's love of yoga drew her to major in Religious Studies at Queen’s University, which allowed her to study Mysticism, Religion and Psychology, and Yoga in the East and West in an academic framework.
Eva has taught four 200-hr certification training and leads continuing education courses for yoga teachers. She developed her own Yin Yoga + Myofascial Release course and is currently developing new training on the Chakra System and Restorative Yoga.
Originally from Canada, Eva's love of yoga has evolved alongside her love of travel. Eva has taught yoga in Canada, Mexico, Scotland, France, Spain, Thailand, Italy, and now lives in Northern Portugal with her Partner where they are building a dreamy yoga retreat at a VIneyard in the Douro Valley.
